Hope your summer has been great! We're thankful to be through (hopefully) the worst of the summer heat and looking forward to Fall ahead of us. Things are looking pretty great at the nursery.
A tree we wanted to highlight is the Beacon® Oak. The Beacon Oak is a new columnar oak that JFS released. They are looking quite spectacular right now. The tree gets to be 40' tall, and only 15' in diameter. It thrives in zones 4-8. We have a good supply of columnar oaks available, including the Beacon Oak.

Another columnar tree we have in great supply that looks quite gorgeous is the Armstrong Gold Maple. The uniformity of the Armstrong Gold is super, and the fall color and consistency far surpass the regular Armstrong Maple. The Armstrong Gold grows well in USDA climate zones 3-7. It reaches a height of 40' and a width of 12'.
The third and last amazing tree we thought we'd highlight this month is the Musashino Columnar Zelkova. This tree is one of my own personal favorites for its resistance to chlorosis and upright growth pattern. It gets to a height of 45' and a width of 15'. I also wanted to remind you of a sale on our beautiful Linden varieties. On both the Harvest Gold and Greenspire Lindens, you can take a whopping 30% off your orders of 10 or more 2" and larger trees.

Next spring, look out for a supply of #15 Acer palmatum Bloodgood and Emporer 1 Japanese maples planned to hit our availability. We've got a large group coming up the growing pipeline we're excited to release.
